Custom Upholstery

Transform heirlooms, thrift finds, and forgotten pieces into bold statements

What makes my

process special

You bring the piece. I help you see what it could become.

We start with a conversation about how you actually live—kids, pets, morning coffee, real life—then choose fabrics that fit both your style and your lifestyle. We look at color, pattern, texture, and durability together. I’ll often suggest combinations you might not expect—bold pairings, subtle contrasts, or special textiles with history and character.

Once we land on the right direction for your piece, I handle the rest in my Brooklyn studio: stripping, rebuilding, padding, pattern matching, sewing, and finishing every detail by hand. The result is a piece that feels completely unique and completely yours, ready for many more years of loving use.

What I upholster

Chairs, dining seats, benches, ottomans, sofas, headboards, banquettes, window seats, and the occasional oddball piece with great bones.

If it has a story and fabric, it’s probably fair game.

The Process

Book a Consultation

Call, email, or fill out our contact form, including photos and a detailed description of your project or furniture. I love to see pictures of the space so I can get a sense of your style and color palette. The more information, the better!

I will respond to any inquiries within 2-3 days to set up a consultation on the phone or in person.

Planning your Project

When we meet, we’ll talk through any follow-up questions you have. I’ll walk you through your options, provide some explanations and ask you some questions and provide a general outline of anticipated costs based on our conversation.

Solidify the Details

If you are interested in moving forward, the real fun begins! I love to understand your design goals and your space so we can pick the perfect textile. We will likely meet to look at swatches, create a color palette, make some choices and get all exact measurements nailed down.

Book and Schedule your project

Once a 50% deposit is paid, your spot on the production calendar is secured and fabric/materials will be ordered. I will reach out when it’s time to pick up your piece, send you progress photos along the way, and help you to schedule delivery when it’s complete.
